When someone reaches 60 they often say how time flies by. When they hit 70 they can not believe their age. What about reaching 800. Methuselah, the oldest man in the bible, is about to reach 800. He's tired and a bit cranky so his wife Edna decides to throw him a birthday party. Not many of his friends are still around, but there is one invited along with his children and a couple of grandchildren. Noah is one of them, and he reveals something that not many of us know.
People say history repeats itself. It's difficult to judge whether we can view the present to be exactly how we remember the past, but we can certainly see parallels. I wrote this short play between the two terms of the current administration. I am not mentioning his name so as not to create any bias with your interpretation of the play. I'll let you be the judge.
